Reservations & Occupancy
Making a reservationReservations can be made via telephone year-round by calling 866-782-9224 or 207-288-1234 between 8am and 10pm ET. For your convenience any time of day you can check availability and book online. We will process your request promptly and email you a confirmation once your deposit payment has been made. Please read your confirmation email message carefully as you are responsible for payment for all dates that you have reserved.
Methods of payment Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, personal checks and cash. Rates are shown for double-occupancy. Additional Maine lodging tax of 8% applies.
Your Rate Includes Our famous made-to-order breakfast. Complimentary beverages and snacks in our Guest Pantry. Evening Wine Hour. Free wireless Internet access.
Deposit A deposit payment is required to confirm your booking. A stay of less than 3 nights requires the full total room rate for a deposit. Stays of 3+ nights require a 50% deposit. Reservations are normally made with a valid credit card. If desired, personal checks may be used for your deposit payment. Your deposit check must be received within 7 days of making your reservation and must be secured with a credit card until receipt of your check.
Minimum stay Two-night stay required.
Smoking We offer a completely smoke-free environment. Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the Inn.
Children Our guests expect a relaxing adult atmosphere. The Inn is not appropriate for children 12 years of age or younger. No child under 18 may occupy a guest room overnight unless accompanied by a parent overnight in that room.
Pets Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets. (The innkeepers have a personal dog that never enters any guest area. If you see him heading out for a walk, give him a pat on the head.)
Other Safety We ask that guests do not bring fireworks, firearms or other weapons into the Inn. Peace.
Cancellations & Forfeiture
In order to be fair to other guests and staff we will apply our cancellation policies fairly and uniformly for all guests. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our policies as shown below.
Required Notice of Cancellation If your plans change notify the Inn via telephone a minimum of 21 days prior to your originally booked arrival date. Cancellations made via email are not accepted.
Cancellations — Refund of Deposit
- If you cancel prior to the 21-day cancellation period your deposit will be refunded less a $25 processing fee per reserved room.
- If you cancel prior to the 21-day cancellation period and wish to reschedule later in the current season that reservation is thereafter non-refundable.
- If you cancel a portion of your reservation prior to the 21-day cancellation period there will be a $25 processing fee applied. If you cancel a portion of your reservation within the 21-day cancellation period you will still be financially responsible for those date(s) unless we can rebook them.
- Deposits charged on non-North American credit cards will be refunded at the prevailing bank exchange rate at the time of cancellation.
Cancellations — Forfeiture of Deposit Cancellations within the 21-day notice of cancellation period will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Check-in & Check-out Times
Check in is from 3pm to 7pm. If you would like an early check-in time please call us 24 hours before arrival and we will try to accommodate your request if possible.
Check out is by 11am.
